Why people switch to SERPs
Most teams arrive here paying for two things. A rank tracker that watches Google and knows nothing about answer engines, and an AI visibility tool that watches answer engines and knows nothing about Google. SERPs records both against the same project, so the question of whether the page that ranks also gets cited has one answer instead of two dashboards and a spreadsheet.
Price is the second reason. SERPs publishes three flat tiers at $49, $149, and $299 a month, with every limit written on the pricing page. Of the 29 tools researched here, 6 publish no entry price at all and put a sales call in front of the number.
SERPs is not the right answer for everyone, and these pages say so. There is no public API, no MCP endpoint, and no white label reporting, so an agency that resells a branded dashboard should stay with the tool that does that. There is no free plan either: every account starts on a 7 day trial and the card is taken up front.
