Why teams leave AuthorityLabs
AuthorityLabs is rank tracking and only rank tracking, and in 2026 there is no AI-search visibility feature anywhere on its site. Any client report that has to show whether a brand appears in ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity answers needs a second subscription alongside it, which is the single most common reason agencies start shopping.
The maintenance signals are the other reason. The Looker Studio connector is still marked '(Beta)' on the pricing page. The former parent brand site, bytraject.com, now 301-redirects to alpinesg.com, the site of its private-equity owner Alpine Software Group, and authoritylabs.com/api/ redirects there too, which leaves the first-party API documentation effectively orphaned for anyone trying to build against it.
Pricing is monthly only with no annual discount: $65/mo at the 250-keyword entry tier, $129/mo for 1,000 keywords, and a 5,000-keyword tier above that. Seats are unlimited and white-label reports are included, which is genuinely generous for agencies, so the keyword ceiling is the only real lever.
